Het meeslepende verhaal van de romance tussen Billy Bigelow en Julie Jordan, zijn plotse ondergang en ten slotte zijn verlossing worden prachtig verteld in een musical die een aantal van de ontroerendste en bekendste songs aller tijden bevat, inclusief If I Loved You, June Is Bustin' Out All Over en You'll Never Walk Alone.
In deze gloednieuwe productie schitteren Lesley Garrett (de populairste sopraan van Groot-Brittannië) als Nettie, Jeremiah James (bekend als lid van de theatergroep Teatro) als Billy Bigelow en Alexandra Silber als Julie Jordan. Deze tijdloze en krachtige musical wordt geregisseerd door de bekroonde Lindsay Posner en de prachtige choreografie is van de befaamde Adam Cooper.
