The Dream Mixed
In het Royal Opera House
The Royal Ballet in London closes its 70 years celebration season with a programme of three great works by British coreographer Frederick Ashton.
This show consists of three of Frederick Ashton's most beloved, and characteristic, works:
"The Dream" - a beautiful adaption of Shakespeare's classic A Midsummer Night's Dream with music by Mendelssohn.
"Symphonic Variations" - an abstract work based on the breathtaking beauty of pure movement.
"Marguerite and Armand" - a tragic, but beautiful, love story inspired by the dance partnership between legendary dancers Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev.
Experience the beauty of ballet with one of Europe's best ballet companies in this celebratory performance!
