It's been 16 years since the Baddiel half of Newman & Baddiel last performed a solo stand up show. But now, following a bunch of work in progress shows and an Edinburgh Fringe run, David Baddiel's back on stage with "Fame Not The Musical", which is now playing a run at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
In the early 90s, Newman and Baddiel were the biggest comedy act in the country, and the first comedians to play and sell out Wembley Arena. Since the pair split, Baddiel teamed up with Frank Skinner and the pair became the kings of a new laddish comedy scene, hosting "Fantasy Football League" and "Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned".
